nerves like nylon, nerves like steel

After 2 months, chele and I finished Myst IV: Revelation last night. We only needed the built-in hint system once (reading D’ni writing sideways was tricky!). I’d rank this one as a tied for first with Riven in my list of favorite Myst games.

Finishing it is a letdown, though. I guess I had been hoping that the game would turn out to be a multi-month effort for us, and it seems llike we’ve solved it too quickly. I’m not sure that we could go back and re-play the others in the series, as I still remember a lot of the details.

Anyone have any suggestions for good Myst-like games? We tried Schism but couldn’t get into the storyline.

I’ve decided to limit access to the gallery only to friends and family members. Google, yahoo, and MSN had all found the site and I was getting more traffic than I felt comfortable sending. I’ve locked down all the albums except the ones for my blog and pictures of stuff selling on ebay.
