I was about to rip up our bathroom floor when I realized it was probably chock-a-block with asbestos. So I left the old stuff there and put the new flooring over it. I just got the new shower caulked this weekend and Karin put up another coat of paint. Now we just have to refurbish the shower doors... I've strongly advocated putting up a cheap rod and curtain and calling it good, but I've been repeatedly vetoed. After the doors, I can re-install the loo. Then we need to buy a new sink and refurbish or replace the old vanity. Oh, I suppose we'll need a new mirror too, since the old one was glued to the wall and refused to come down with any dignity or structural coherence.
