hi, i havent found any other way to contact you so this will have to do :) i hope thats ok...

i've just ready a post on sourceforge that you wrote about connecting an ipaq to your dell via bluetooth and had a question...

i've followed everything you stated and was able to connect to my laptop from my ipaq but am unable to view anything on the net, get email, etc.

you mentioned "a simple static ifcfg file automatically configures it when the iPAQ connects"; what config are you talking about? i seem to recall i need to set up my laptop in some way to allow "through" connections, is that what you mean?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers,
reagen

Yeah, last fall I fell down a hill playing one Saturday morning. The doctor says I probably ripped or tore a ligament. I kept off it all winter, and am back at 100% on the ankle. I also did something to my elbows, which makes throwing difficult. Those are still healing. :(

In our case we were the "next owners". I was about to rip up our bathroom floor when I realized it was probably chock-a-block with asbestos. So I left the old stuff there and put the new flooring over it. I just got the new shower caulked this weekend and Karin put up another coat of paint. Now we just have to refurbish the shower doors... I've strongly advocated putting up a cheap rod and curtain and calling it good, but I've been repeatedly vetoed. After the doors, I can re-install the loo. Then we need to buy a new sink and refurbish or replace the old vanity. Oh, I suppose we'll need a new mirror too, since the old one was glued to the wall and refused to come down with any dignity or structural coherence.

Still, we're making good progress for only having been at this a couple years now.
